Developers return back private tables

Private games have been a debated feature in the game and we've turned them off until further notice.
We love the game to be as social as possible and this is the case when everyone plays in the same public saloons.
The new private chat feature is a great way to have new social interactions with your friends and team mates.
So don't play alone and join everyone at the tables!

Aka: No more 1 person moving chips around from 10 accounts to get higher on the leaderboard.
We'll look into different fun tournament types.

I get the idea, but that makes it almost impossible to have a team game at an 8-seat table, in fact a table with more than just one or two friends. Tables fill up with random people quite quckly.

Suggestion: If the main problem really just is people misusing it for leaderboard reasons, then why not letting private tables not count into the win/loss stats of the leaderboard?

It will definitely help, although I bet you can still move around chips, even at public tables, it's just making it harder - a lot harder, though, which is good. I miss the social factor of pvt tables.

this is one of those "some ruining it for all" cases again... do you remember Big Wins?!?! :( its great to hear about teams just having team only games that keep any of the chips won and lost between your teammates and the rake. All of my most memorable and fun times with more laughs while playing have invovled playing with many teammates and friends at once and it had nothing to do with winnings. they were all at public tables but its that social factor that CallGirl mentioned... but that type of use of the private table option is a rarity in comparision to the amount of chips that were being muled to main accounts from an Alt account or many through this game option for longer than i have played the game!

I dont know... how about sit and go private tables??? it might be abused in a desperate trophy attempt. but it forces a buy in for all, comes with a time limit, ends with a winner, one who breaks even and three players out thier buy in. just a quick thought... your not going to enrich an account this way. chips are lost! lol

with that said, I am so happy that they are gone for the greater good... Now cheaters that enrich thier main accounts with alt account chips will have to try to pull it off in front of others at public tables. this is no cure, but does make things more difficult for those types for sure :)

Private tablews are for fun and let them stay... No team points, no leaderboards point - that's the solution.
I want to play with my friends and win them.
This should be a game of fun for friends? Who wants to play seriously has teams and challenges

This is honestly stupid. I love to play on a private table with one or two friends. Bring the feature back and don't let a few people ruin it for the majority.

Guys this was a game that we had fun with when playing with friends. Seriously removing private tables ruins this entire game. Who the hell cares about leaderboards on a casual poker game. This just makes you sound really sad...
