Ways to spend "Gold"

Over the time I gathered quite a lot of gold, that is not because I'm saving it on purpose, but because I don't see any attractive ways to spend it.

I know there are some gifts and the heads-up, but I lost interest in playing that since the XP/team points were reduced and the prices for playing it raised.

I'm just thinking out loud... maybe something like buying doubler time with gold would be nice?!

Any other thoughts on this? :)

you should buy the costumes the game has... also, there will be a system for buying things in-matches, the ones which give you hearts, should give you more stuff to play. :)

yes, there are hats and gifts, but I pretty much have all of them and it's a one-time action.

What do you mean by buying things during matches?
