Divinity Engine 2 crashes upon loading
Everytime I try to create content using the divinity engine the toolset crashes upon loading. I can not seem to find the issue and with the massive amount of issues in here its hard to find a hot fix.

If anyone else can elabroate on this that would be great. My normal game runs like a dream, but the Mod toolsets crash before I can even work.

Same here! Have searched quite a bit online and it seems there are quite a bunch having this exact problem :acleap:

The problems seem to be with the Data directory. Some crash on startup, others boot but it will crash if you try to select texture for terrain, or if you load the sandbox mode.

As of what i see in the errors it is that the ObjectFactory exeeds the maximum amount of objects. :conwayshrug:

I got mine to work somehow. Still unsure. Make sure to follow their guide to the letter.

I didn't tag the data folder was causing alot of mine. Though I can edit now with some crashes when changing levels and ♥♥♥♥.

My game will show a message pop up failing to load to Larian servers. When I hit OK, the game loads to the far left side of the screen in a paper thin window that I can't see. I can hear music but cannot see the game at all. I have updated everything, restarted the computer and the game. Checked firewall settings, and made sure the game and settings were trusted in order to play the game, still, it only shows this tiny window that I can only close with ctrl alt del.

@RakNoel That is werid? You shouldn't have that problem. All you should have to do is click the yes near divinity 2 engine then go to tools and download the divinity engine 2 launcher.

@jordanger Are you talking about for the engine tools or the acutal game?

The problem is with the DLCs. Step 1: On your Steam account, go to the Library and find Divinity Original Sin 2 (note: NOT the Engine). Step 2: Right click on the title and select Properties. Step 3. Select the DCL tab and check the box to enable Divinity Engine 2 Data.
Step 4: Start Divinity Engine 2 .....
