Connection to the Larian support server failed.
Every time I start up I get this message. After fiddling with my firewall settings just to get the game to load up ) after updating from EA. And this message still appears if firewall is disabled. Is there a fix or am I missing something?

Same problem here. Rather annoying since it takes like 2 minutes to start up as it waits to pop that error message. Game plays fine once I hit ok on the error box at least, but really, how do I fix this?

Same here. I was looking for a way to turn off the error reporting tool. No luck yet.

I also had this problem but found if you get a vpn you can get on but might have to pay for one which is kinda a pain. At least if you get free one with a limit it multi player will drain it quickly.

I have found the following recommendation to work:-

Keep Steam open (minimised on the task bar is fine), but run the game from the EoCApp.exe file in the Steam folder (Steamapps/common/divinity etc/bin). Run it as administrator and make a shortcut icon for the desktop. That will bypass the server connection problem and load the game quickly, while keeping Steam running will enable you to receive achievements etc.

as someone else mentioend I crash once I close the message down. Doing the above still crashes me when I try to load the .exe as admin. Tells me the file is not meant for Windows or is corrupted. Only way to fix is uninstall and reinstall. I can play the first time but then once I leave and relaunch the game it crashes and locks my PC again. Game is unplayable.
