The issue still remains
Same here. I was looking for a way to turn off the error reporting tool. No luck yet.
When i'm using my VPN it works without any problems ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Keep Steam open (minimised on the task bar is fine), but run the game from the EoCApp.exe file in the Steam folder (Steamapps/common/divinity etc/bin). Run it as administrator and make a shortcut icon for the desktop. That will bypass the server connection problem and load the game quickly, while keeping Steam running will enable you to receive achievements etc.
as someone else mentioend I crash once I close the message down. Doing the above still crashes me when I try to load the .exe as admin. Tells me the file is not meant for Windows or is corrupted. Only way to fix is uninstall and reinstall. I can play the first time but then once I leave and relaunch the game it crashes and locks my PC again. Game is unplayable.
same here. have not found a fix yet
