Won't Launch on Mac
On steam it shows "running" for 4 seconds then "syncing" for on second then quits and never launches. Is there a fix or do I need a refund?

Can you please provide your Mac specs. The more detailed the better.

Try verifying the integrity of the game files. I had a similar problem and verifying the game files and restarting the Steam client solved the problem for me.

This is happening to me too. I was actually just about to post the same thing.

My system is *technically* not on the list of supported machines, but I had no problems at all with D:OS 1 at highest settings, so I imagined that running D:OS 2 would at least be possible.

My specs:
Mac Pro
macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core
32 GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5870

MacPro type please :) 2010 or 2013? MacPro machines are unsupported due to lack of Avx instructions. But! We’re actively working with MacPro owners to verify our fixes for that issue.

However I am not so sure on your video. It must be metal 1.2 or better 2.0 compliant. Then it should work

Getting the Avx instruction error message as well! I have a MacPro from 2013. Anything I can do? I appreciate your work to help us out!

Right now we’re stocked with people that can test things out. Keep an eye on Larian forums - there will be an announcement there at some point about MacPro support.

I have the 2010. Am I doomed?

I bought the game on the Christmas sale anticipating the port, so I am pretty SOL if so.
stauff__ Feb 1, 2019 @ 6:08pm
The current approach will be to have a version completely free of Avx because there are MacPro 2010 with Rx580 graphics out there. So you’re not doomed. But your video remains a question - feel free to drop me an email to stauff@elverils.com so I will add you to list of MacPro testers. Not real testers of course :) we will just check game startup and several scenes when I will prepare replacement binaries without Avx.

Thank you! I will do that.

You have unsupported iMac 2010-2012 as far as I see.. But there is good news. We're going to support old configurations for CPU soon. As for Radeon HD 5870 we will see whether it can support Metal 1.2

I have to request a refund within 14 day (12 left). How "soon" is support for older CPU? I doubt it will be that soon.

MacPro 2013

Processeur 3GHz 8-core Intel Xeon E5
AMD FirePro D5000

I hope there will be a solution soon because it's rare to find a game running on Mac ...
