World Map Suddenly Turned Black

I was in the Tower in the maze and after I emerged my entire world map had went completly black apart from the small area around my character. The quest markers are still shown but the way points are not.

I tried to reload an earlier save but when I did the map was also all black. I loaded a save from very early on and again the entire map is black. Is there any known ways to fix to this? Even a cheat/command that unlocks the whole map would be better than this...

I saw the same thing. It seems like a bug that was introduced in the latest patch, probably an offshoot of their map "enhancements." Hopefully they get it fixed sooner rather than later.

Had the same thing happen to me. As well as the Attitude pop-ups stopped appearing in particular companion conversations (that I knew were supposed to have them) as detailed here http://steamcommunity.com/app/435150/discussions/6/1699415798761860838/

Having the same problem, loading any save results in the fog of war being reset.

The hotfix has remedied the issue!

Rediscoverd 70 % of the map and now it reset AGAIN!!! Hotfix did NOT solve the problem.

If you read the hotfix it says that any saves made during patch 6 cannot be fixed but saves earlier than patch 6 will be recovered. That was true for me

How is that considered a hot "fix" if it does not fix the problem. We make 2 saves; a quick save and a manual save every time we log off after coop play, to make sure have backups in case one save fails. Now neither save does anything but give us totally blacked out map.
