Infinite Loading Screen - 40+ hours, please help.

Hey there,

I'm a big fan of Divinity 2 and I'm playing Act 2 atm. I am playing with mods and this seems to have destroyed my ability to load my 11-12mb savegame.

I've tried disabling all mods and enabling / disabling mods one by one, but sadly, I keep being stuck at around 90% loading, where it just keeps loading forever.

Yesterday, the same setup, worked perfectly and there were no issues. Even loading older savegames doesn't seem to help at all.

Starting a new game works fine, with and without mods.

Is there any way to fix a corrupted save game or find out what, exactly, is causing the issue?

I would really appreciate some help as I don't think I can bring myself to restart the game entirely again.

EDIT UPDATE:
It works. Loading just takes well over 35 minutes.

I've already tried verifying the integrity of game files and playing with all mods disabled, doesn't work.

I don't think it is connected to mods. It takes ~10 mins to load the game at Reaper's coast and after that everything is incredibly slow. I saw many people have this problem but I am not sure if anyone is going to fix this.

I loaded my save with all mods on and went to watch a show. After returning a hour later, the game had loaded.

My loading time atm is over 35 minutes but it works.
