Dumb question but how do I swap weapons in my hand?

so i have a wand and a kife both in my hands but im only able to use the wand how do I attack with the weapon in my other hand?

Your primary weapon will determine which actually attacks. Unfortunately, I don't think a ranged and melee works like that.

You can however, switch hands and swap weapons that way, changing the hand each weapon is in. Might take AP to do it though.

am i able to do that with a hot key or do i have to go into my invontory every time?

Hard to say. I know weapons can be set to your hotbar and swapped, armor too. Though I'm not entirely sure how the game would handle main hand and off hand like that. I've actually never seen a post about this, I'm guessing because it would require running weapons from two different attributes to do and just about anyone with experience in this game would advise not to. Still, you'd just have to experiment with it by dragging the items to the hotbar. The only similar thing I do is have a dual dagger rogue drop their off hand to gain access to sucker punch, but I just open the inventory for that.
