Saving Black Ring necromancers at Blackpits.
Encounter at the docks with 2 White Magisters one of whom starts the encounter with triple shackles pain on the necros.

Shackles are permanent iirc and necro only has 600 hp.

Is the only way to kill everyone except for him, kite him outside the docks and slowly chip away his health while one character heals the necromancer or can i dispell it somehow?

Yep, that's the only way you can do it. Not sure if it will work though, didn't try it myself. What i tried was teleporting the magister to really far, but he cast spell regardless of how far he was, then i simply gave up. It's scripted.

I solved it by bursting his phys armor down and chickening him and focusing him in chicken form before he could cast shackles and teleporting the second magister who has whirldwind away from necros.

Sadly Black Ring guys dont even thank you and tell you to ♥♥♥♥ off.

Does he do anything besides being a ♥♥♥♥ there? No regrets about killing him personally if not.

he didn't do much when i met him, but then again i was opposing the black ring, so mb he never had a chance

Hmm, i did side with black ring in one playthrough and there were infact some differences and one pretty big one in the nameless island, sadly it was a playthrough where i killed that guy in blackpits. So maybe there are follow ups yes.

Stand at the very entrance to the doors, and use teleport to teleport the shackle guy as far away as you can on the beach where the shriker is.

When I did this it didnt start a fight and he was still yellow. I killed the others and killed him later, he wasn't able to shackle from that far away and saved all 3 black ring guys. They're thankful for it, and there's even an interaction with them later on.

I saved him by teleporting him out of the combat zone of the Magisters and then healing him up while slowly killing the Magister with the Shackles.
If you manage to save the named guy (not sure if the other 2 are important) you can find him again on the Nameless Isle in the Black Ring camp near their ship at the Orcish Temple. He tells the captain to let you pass. Dunno what would have happened otherwise.

So I'm currently trying to save these guys and I'm a little upset the Cryogenic Statis (Target becomes immune to all damage, and heals over time) doesn't work. That'd be a really smart move if it actually worked.. It's near impossible to save this guy unless you wanna make an easy fight last way longer than it should.

Edit: Resist death worked WONDERS. Friend casted it on him and then destroyed the Magister.

I just teleported the hooded magister outside onto some oil then using Laser Ray to get his magic armor down. Used Fanes source ability to give him a second turn, and charmed the hooded magister.

I used teleport on the prisoners. Positioned my Fane just outside the back door and teleported each member out, then teleported them to beach near the turtle- maybe a bit of overkill, but I wasn't sure what the distance on the mass shackles is, so i just figured I'd get them as far out of the way as possible. The downside to this is that they were too far away from combat, so even after I killed the Magister and freed them, they didn't join the fight.

Sorry I know this is a bit late but my tactic was having a crit caster (High wits so he almost always went first) burst the shackle caster's magic armor down then just keep him frozen or stunned for the whole battle.

Hey, i know this is much later, but you can save Nikor and the other members of the black ring, you can break the chain of pain with the cryogenic stase spell ( hydro ), then you can tp him in a safe place, and heal him if needed, if you have enough tp and heal you can save all the members
