There's your problem. Alice deals approximately 3.5k of damage in her first turn (on Honour, at least - could be less on lower difficulties), so ideally you want to tackle her at level 16/17. Alternatively, attack her with magic from afar to drag her away from the idols - there's a good chance she'll waste her turn moving towards you instead of casting her deadly magic.
With Hannag, you just have to be stealthy - use Chameleon Cloak, sneaking, teleport right next to her. Direct approach doesn't work.
#2 The key (for me, anyway), is to teleport Alice away from the fire. The fire heals her. Have your tank down a fire resistance potion and/or do other things to improve magic armor.
#3 Rain!
#4 Teleport her next to your tank (if it's your tank that has the teleport ability, so much the better), and have the rest of your party spread out AWAY her starting position. Stashing your archer in the ruins overlooking the area is a good idea. Once the fight initiates, she's going to go first. If she's next to your tank and the others are further away, it limits what she can do in turn one. She seems to have a lot of AP and can move, do a high damage fire attack, and take control of one of your characters in a single turn if she starts close enough to everyone.
#5 If your tank can survive her initial attack and she couldn't reach anyone else, the fight is probably over. You should be able to get her armor down and cc her in one turn. She doesn't heal away from the fire and her fire elementals won't be able to reach you.
I couldn't quite manage this takedown smoothly with a level 15 party, but I'm no expert. She still managed to kill one of us, but that's what resurrection scrolls are for I guess.
Have rest of your party all do physical.
Send the intelligence based one in alone to the witch. (Do not get rest of party into combat)
Witch nukes your intelligence character, who will survive.
TP witch to the rest of your party.
Murder with physical chain CC.
Also did this at level 14.
Or, even easier, prevent death with necro for your first character, so you can send in whoever and still survives.
