Dallis's Dusty Tome Bug

I can't find Dallis's dusty tome in "Lady o War". There is another book in it's place, "Ancient Songs". It is in the same position as the "Dusty Tome" should be, propped up on the desk in the Stateroom. I checked my inventory and the inventory of every character on the ship. I can't find it anywhere... and I can't sing to the figurehead.

I've tried past quicksaves and I run into the same problem.

I think this may be a bug? Can I spawn the Dusty Tome so I can continue the story?

The songbook should be it. If it has lizard tongue written in it, its the one.

I believe it’s similar to “the taming of the holy fire” book, the one regarding the statues on bloodmoon. The book changes name when read with scholar. The songbook changes name from dusty time when read. It’s possible you’re either missing a step (though I can’t imagine what that is) or have some sort of bug holding you back and might need to reload a save before getting on the ship.

It's a main story quest, it shouldn't require Scholar. But if it's the case, there's the respec mirror, just before Alexandar's cell, it can be used to change tags as well. Respec someone into Scholar, read the book, respec back, if needed and done.

BE CAREFUL messing with objects in the rooms can make the book glitch into them, as of this post i've been running around trying to figure out where the damn books is but its stuck in the globe. https://imgur.com/gallery/i4aWGtC

link is dead now, what the image showed was how if you get items stuck inside one another, if your able to move them, then place the item on a angle stairs ect., and it should make them separate.
