Birdie in Houndmaster's Room
I've turned the source hounds into friendly playful pups, but I have no lockpicks to open Birdie's door and cage. Would anyone tell me what's up with him and why he's so sad (other than being locked up.)?

He was forced to eat people basically. He is sad because he knows he’ll not be able to control himself around people because he basically sees them as food and feels like no one will ever be able to be his master/friend because of it. BTW, there’s a key in that room (hold left alt to see it easier) that opens his cage. And you can craft lockpicks either by combining a random key with a bar of soap, or nails and a hammer on an anvil.
