Tyrant's Gloves (Spoilers!)

So, I know where they are. I know how to get them. However, it isn't in my current build's ability to collect them.

I'm a lone wolf. I chose to just go about murdering the other Origin characters, thus preventing myself from being able to temporarily recruit one to help open the.. coffin.

I read online that you require 18 strength to open it, or you can use a trap disarm kit. I cannot do the first else it'd ruin my build as well as require me to level up numerous times just to get that one item. As for the second option, it won't work. I've never used one before but as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't work.

I'd like some help please. It isn't critical as I can just avoid it. I don't really want the set as it doesn't really seem to be that good for me.

you can have one teammate as a lone wolf and still keep the stats, get one that has STR to open the coffin.

alternatively Peace of mind(depending on your level might be +2 or +3)/Encourage(+1) give strength ups. Food/potion that give strength or find a piece of gear with +2 strength can assist. be aware you unlock free infinite respecs pretty quickly so you can dunk a single stat into strength(which counts as 2 for lone wolf) and then retrain the 1 point when you get respec. and you can always wait until you finish everything else on the island and then go get the gloves before you leave so you dont feel like you are betraying your build by getting strength.
