best couch co cop game with no couch co op

i know its the switch version but ♥♥♥♥ you, i just want to play a game with my GF and now ive watched a tonne of money on something we cant play together.
i dont want split screen, just add a second character that can only move within the screen where ever player 1 goes. down grade the graphics if you have to.

You can play together. Just because you don’t like split screen doesn’t mean that you can’t play. That’s on you for having such a specific preference and not investigating that prior to purchase. It doesn't? I'm actually surprised to some degree, though Nintendo does usually lack features in their version of certain games due to their niche console designs.
