The Red Prince
Is his story better enjoyed from main perspective(=TRP Main) or from the side perspective(=TRP second)? I know what makes more sense, given his personality, but you never know.

Also, can you "yield" to your secondary char in A3(you know what I am talking about) or is it always your main in the focus?

Thank you.

No, unfortunately you can't let a party member step up in Act III. Which is a great shame, because in Act II, you can promise to do exactly that, and it would be fitting in many playthroughs.

As for the Red Prince, I find him much better as a companion than as my main char, mostly because I think his voice actor does an amazing job playing the elegant-but-entitled, borderline-spoiled-brat personality in a likeable way. I also like how he reluctantly comes to respect you.

This is exactly my problem. It would be a big waste to waste his phenomenal VA, but then again, he just makes sense as the main char.

Shame about A3. Is there perhaps a mod that allows you that?

Fane makes most sense once you played the game full and explored everything.
then second would be Ifan.
After that Red-Prince/Sebile/Lohse and
last Beast. Beast ist pretty much boring..except a couple lines at act 4 he does litterly nothing and says nothing.. hase also little to non relevance with other npc's.

But Red-Prince makes also sens and fun to play him as main. IF you like to explore his Lore.. otherwise he can be companion.

In my opinion, the best character to choose as your main is Lohse. That way you get to be in on the possession action, instead of just constantly reading about how "her eyes go black for a second." There's a few moments where you're not in control of her actions, which is a nice change of pace in this kind of game. There's a Lohse-specific ending choice. There's the candles thing. Overall I think she's the best choice, it's just too bad that she's stuck with the super-crappy "jester" tag which basically only ever does unpleasant things to a conversation and never contains any actual good jokes.

Red Prince, IMO, works very well as a party member. He'll quarrel with you, undercut your authority a few times, deal with his private affairs, and you'll never even learn his name. But you'll get his cool lines. "Quite obviously I was musing about the actual empire I actually lost!"

Again, are Fane and Ifan better as secondary or main? I know what you're aiming at with both and Fane could really be the main character given the MASSIVE SPOILER. You know what I mean. But is any of that better experienced as MC or as Side? I played as Ifan main and it wasn't anything special as long as Alex wasn't present. I also played Beast as main, but that was mostly one big nothing(truth be told). Lohse was beautiful as side, as was Sebille.

But, personality wise, is there anyone else better suited to the MC role than TRP?
