Windows 11 Update 24H2

This Windows update has been causing for quite some problems for games and I have ignored it for this reason. Only now did Windows force the update onto me and I went with it just to see whether it makes a mess. And it does. D:OS2 now will not open fullscreen anymore and I have to first move its window around when it then suddenly, and for inexplicable reasons, jumps to fullscreen mode. This is quite annoying and short of removing this messy update, does anyone know how to fix this??

Running fine in fullscreen here like it always has.

I have removed the update. It is working normally again. Still, I would like to know what causes this or what can be done. If anyone knows, please do tell.
