This game is like Dragons Dogma and I can't find anymore like it
Being able to kill all NPC's, have a party, long battles, and most importantly the way items really interact with each other and the world. Like rain clearing the acid and being able to freeze the water and them in it. Do you guys know of any other games that do this?

Games that aren't Larian games

Pillars of Eternity, Solasta, Dragon Age are the closest I can think of

there aren't any on this level if you already played larian's games, most companies gave up on trying to make actually fun gameplay for rpgs

your best bet is older crpgs if you don't mind real time with pause combat, personally i don't like it. Pillars of Eternity, Pathfinder, Tyranny are some of the popular examples.

[/qDo those have immersive like qualities? I'm 3 hours into Pillars, and the story seems decent, but I'm not too impressed by the gameplay even though I dislike turn-based combat

Don't know honestly, I haven't played them they're just the only type of rpgs with companions that allow you to make story choices that I can think of.

I think BG1 and BG2
Also i heard that Pathfinder is even better when it comes to how much you can do, but it is a shorter game

Warhammer 40K Rouge Trader is similar in that there is a lot of impactful choices, im pretty sure you can even kill your own party members. You should check it out im about 20hrs in and its great. The turnbased combat is also really good.

Waiting to binge that next week
I find "being able to kill almost anyone you want" to be overrated and it's not something I cared for. I don't get why everyone likes it. At least Dragon's Dogma 1 had the courtesy to respawn most NPCs after a week, which is something I liked. And I don't like how Larian has little to no respawning characters in their games.

what's there not to like about it? If you don't want to do it then you simply have a normal game and for people that do like doing it they get a lot of consequences and variety in how things go

respawning npcs are weird, in dragon's dogma 2 it makes sense because you use wakestones to do it. I guess they could've allowed using revive scrolls on npcs in divinity but it takes away from the choice based design of the game.

There is a huge issue with respawning npcs or easily revived npcs.
It takes away from your accomplishements of killing someone because there is literally nothing stopping you with the entrance like "somehow, palpatine has returned"

Because I don't want to be able to wipe out the map? I don't care for it? Granted, you could reasonably call me a sociopathic idiot for not following what the majority wants.

Even generic NPCs like guards in Elder Scrolls? Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Still, I'm a raging idiot, so keep that in mind.

rogue trader is fricking boring after the early game because u win fights in 1 or 2 turns. and the choices are on rails for the three ways u can take. it takes like 300-400h of dos 2 to see everything u can build and do. playing lone wolf with only 2 chars makes the game even better
