How much damage does an oil barrel?

Pretty sure its relative to level. When the oil barrel breaks, it creates oil, obviously. When ignited, the oil creates a short lived "explosion cloud" that deals damage. As with all surfaces and clouds, the damage is based on the level of the character that created it. Therefore, oil barrels will scale over time.

very low.. very very low... not enough to kill anyone..
maybe early lvl but later almost no significant dmg..

in DOS 1 they do tons of dmg in DOS 2 very very low dmg. using a fire spell does more dmg. atleast it feels like it.

Well, by stacking enough of them i was able to basically clear the whole wolves camp... it was possible becuse in pits there is a machine where you can turn any number of empty barrels into oil barrels.
It was funny how the whole camp ground was covered by burning oil.

yeah that is the only event.. you have not enough barrels to do that in every fight..
if you do 1 or 3 barrels per enemy it is still not enough dmg to deal significant dmg. abilities will do way more dmg.

it just does not scale like in dos 1
