Kill Alexandar or not? (act 5)

Hello, I'm actually on the unnamed island and debating with myself if I should kill Alexandar or not.
I've already found him at the elven temple and convinced Gareth not to slay him because vengence and violence are bad.
But now I want to kill this little ***. Should I do or not? Would this close further interesting quests or story lines? Especialy is there other way to punish Alexandar in the futur?
I already know I need his head to find the pale man. This is a pro, I admit.

Please give me your opinion.

Well he's going to die anyway. Your either going to kill him in the trial to become god or he's gonna to have his source drained dry and be turned to paste.

You can also take his side and he will give you a item to access the Sallow man's hideout and kill the Sallow Man instead.
In my run i killed him got the reward from the Sallow Man then killed the Sallow man and his cronies for XP.

IF you wanted to maximize XP i believe it was kill Alexander for Gareth's quest turn the head in at Sallow man for his quest then kill Sallow man.

He will be silenced at the end of act 3 (you're in act 3, there's only 4 acts), regardless of your actions. Pretty sure if you kill him here, you'll still see him again one last time.

Meanwhile, I kinda felt bad for him. Sure, he’s a pain, but he’s in a difficult situation where people need a hero to look to and that hero up to that point was his father Lucian, who set one hell of an example to follow after. Like, imagine what it has to be like replacing someone famous for being one of the best at that thing. For sports people, it’d be like being the quarterback that replaces Tom Brady. You’ve got one hell of a reputation to follow and even if you’re good, you’re going to be compared to something you might not ever compete with.

If you go the full turn him to your side route, he eventually breaks down and submits that he’s not good enough and was just trying to fill his father’s role. His confidence was all an act.

Is he going to die anyway during the trial? Can I get his head if it's not me who kills him?

Also, is there any reason not to kill the black ring peons except there strong? Would that close story lines?

If you kill him during the Trial it's too late to go turn in the head.
The trial is the last thing that happens on the island whether, if you had any unfinished business before hand 2 bad.
I mean i murdered all the peons its free Xp. But that was a while back and maybe they updated it so they all share hostility or something.

Oh ok, I found a secret entrance into the trial's temple so I don't even know if Alexandar will be here.
According to what you say I should explore the Island before I go in the temple furthermore.
And if I kill Black Ring peons on the Island, will it close story line after this chapter? Will see them again?

I've killed some black ring peons, the other on the island don't seem to be upset.
Alexandar has vanished, surely because I've entered the temple. Is it possible to steal the truth hood from him?

Alexander is now sitting in the final room before the trial. I talked to him a bit before and did some quests before entering the trial.

I killed him however so i never asked for the hood, so maybe. Pretty sure it also drops off his corpse but by that point i had his head so it was useless.
