The black cat becomes a summon if you manage to escape Fort Joy without him getting killed in a fight by the Barracks gates.
It's just some experience points ultimately is all, nothing to lose sleep over.
Would you recommend I play my first play through with a Custom made character that has Pet Pal? Or is it better just to pick an origins character. I just started and want to slap the Red Prince. Just got off the ship and met him on the first island.
I usually like lots of dialog in my games.
Thanks!
If you like dialog all origins is better since they add story and therefore dialog. (Especially companions!)
