Poison build
I'm new to the game but I really like the idea of being an undead and building my character around dealing poison damage as well as healing myself at the same time. I don't know all the ways of doing this though as I have never played before and so I was hoping someone could tell me how I could do this.

If I'm an undead lizard would my 10% resistance to poison mean that when I'm poisoned I get 10% more health back?

Grab a Ooze Barrel that way you can combine any weapons you get (melee/ranged weapons I believe) With poison, also allows you to turn any health potions into poison bottles.

the fire or poisen dmg is not much.. its so low not worth to mention.. you get more dmg bye having more abilities and spamming those into the eemys face.

Basically build full Geo mage and have at it. Other characters can use the Venom Coating spell to apply poison damage to their attacks in addition to crafting it on. There's also poison runes to slot into weapons and archers can use Elemental Arrowheads to pick up poison. Note, a poison staff that you craft poison onto and cast Venom Coating to would deal quite a lot of poison damage indeed.

Its worth noting that enemy undead are common enough that this might work against you at times. consider going full Geo with Necromancy as a side skill, just 2-3 points is enough for learning its spells, then stack Warfare for physical damage scaling. You do this because Necromancy has the Decaying Touch spell that makes healing convert to damage and when done in this way, it counts as physical damage. This allows you to use poison on undead characters to deal physical damage to them as long as they're decaying.

One caveat: environmental poison burns easily, so if you're planning to use poisonous puddles/clouds, be mindful of that and pack a Cast Rain scroll or two.

why you want the poisen dmg on your weapon anyway??.. you never gona finish the game with basic auto atacking enemys. its based on using spells.. that 2 or 3 poisen dmg will not make a big change. and it heals undeath enemys anyway.
