Also, don't forget to install any listed dependencies/requirements for the mods you plan to use. In my case, I had to install a script extender manually into Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\bin directory, as well as a LeaderLib, in order to use the PartyAI mod.
Out of curiosity I tried enabling those ones that come with the game, like the gift bags or whatever? Seemed interesting. But my dwarf character lost all the items he was carrying for some reason. And, one of said items was the teleportation gloves you need at the start of the game. Oops. Plus I didn't save right beforehand, and it seems like I need to restart. Well, it is at the beginning. Oh well.
