Braccus Rex Tower Key
I got through the gargoyle maze and apparently there's supposed to be a key to the door inside the tower on one of the necromancers but there's literally nothing on any of their corpses. So what am I supposed to do?

Could probably pick it. If you don’t have a thievery character in your party, and you haven’t yet recruited each of the origin characters at least once, dismiss a companion and go recruit one you’ve never recruited yet and make them a shadowblade. Have them pick the door open then go retrieve your other ally.

If you have recruited them all and they’re all leveled up and all that… just remember that you don’t get to keep them all game, after the first act you permanently lose access to whoever isn’t actively a part of your party.

If you cannot get someone to pick it, you may need to find thievery gear to try and get the skill high enough or skip the area.

gonna try the recruit new party member option and get back to you, it's a complete mystery where this key disappeared to, but that's the most viable option because I don't have enough thievery and I have no idea where to go next where I can actually win a fight.

By the time you're entering here, you should be a minimum level 6, but ideally level 7. At that point, you're typically strong enough (or should be) to beat just about everything the island has to throw at you. The only fights you would probably struggle with at that 7 or lower would be the final fight and the one against the captain for the set armor quest. Everything else should be within your power at level 7.

Okay something super weird is happening, and I don't understand how or why it's happening but it seems like enemies have no weapons now? Even when they're not supposed to? I just came back into the game to try out your idea of just getting another party member and I just noticed none of the necromancers have any weapons and in the fight I had with the pirate crew by the chest that I unlocked with Bless, they didn't have any weapons either. This might explain why the key is not dropping but now, I seem to have a bigger problem and I have no idea what is causing this.

If you're using any mods, that's the first place I'd look.

literally none as far as I know. I think the campaign might be borked now. I think I was struggling to much on tactician anyways.

Definitely sounds like something wiped the equipment from everyone. Verify the game files and see if that does anything.

Also, I can always help with that last bit. Once you learn the basics of building a team, tactician gets pretty manageable. I always found it to be easy honestly. It’s possibly closer to your average normal difficulty, but it’s still easier than that, to me anyway.
