Lost the imp gem Nameless Island

I found the missing imp gem for Running like Clockwork quest, I talk to it but then put it to my inventory. I go doing other quest for a while and now comeback, it disappear from my inventory, I cannot find it anywhere. How can I get it back?

Aside from learning where you lost it at... nope. Its not essential to complete to progress though.

I came here cause same happened to me now I cannot find it for the life of me and I just picked it up, its nowhere in inventory. Did you end up figuring it out?

it gives you just a bit exp.. nothing special. no further information.. it could be that you sold it to vendors. look better on your inventory. it looks similair to those other rubins you find.. or maybe you put it in a bag or send it to the ship.

It looks like a normal ruby. Just mouse over it and see if it's the one.
