explorer mode vs classic mode?
what are differences between two and for someone who has decent turn based rpg experience and a little challenge ( but not too much!!!) in combat encounters, which one is proper mode for the first playthrough?

If I remember correct classic mode used to be a bottom difficulty early on, but since some people wanted game to be more relaxing the explorer mode has been added. I never played explorer mode so I cant explain the difference, but it is easier ;-). In classic mode you will have some challenges, but once you understand how game works, learn some cohesion between skills / weapons ect it becomes relatively easy. So, I guess classic mode is best for start.

thx for the answer. can i change difficulty later on?
I think so.
I don't think you can change difficulty once you start playing.
Story mode was added later. Explorer is just Easy. Enemies get a few stat nerfs. Not much else really. Story nerfs them harder and gives the player buffs like bedrolls res your dead. It’s meant for players who want combat to take a back seat role and focus on story.
