Buying gear? Yes or no?
Does we acquire new equipment doing quest and exploring enough or should I also be thinking about buying it from merchant? I don’t want to waste money

Equipment from quest in this game is not good, buy when you have money.

That's what the money is for, right?

What do you mean waste money. What else are you going to spend it on? Skill books are a minor expense in the grand scheme of things. Gear is what most of my money goes to, and I still end up with tens of thousands of gold to spare.

In many games you can buy something from merchants for a lot of money and half later you can find something a lot of better on the ground

Yeah, 100% you want to be buying it. Every hour or every time you level up, whichever comes first, merchant inventories reset. You wanna check them every time as sometimes a good upgrade is hard to come by. Most quest rewards are vendor trash.

Buying gear frequently, and making sure my characters have optimized gear is a must for my playing style!
