Best? Not sure. Definitely interesting though. Never delved into building tanks much after my first few runs or theorycrafting.

Cool! Thanks for feedback! :)

Trying to play one right now. Still in early stages but it's definitely a very different play style.

It plays more like you're goading the enemies to "Come at me, bruh!" type rather than the usual, "I'm gonna bash your brains in" kind of warrior.

Might not want mods, but I really enjoyed the Resonater (think shield-banger) and Blacksmith class mods for my Dwarf Tank... havent played for a few years and about to restart.

I think there's no need for glass cannon? With provoke working without broken armour now.

But yeah looks fun!

The most successful tank I've seen was a glass cannon to try taunting, and late game made great use of living on the edge and guardian angel

Hmm ... those are really neat idea. Thanks! :steamhappy:

I think I'll definitely try those.

I might even switch out Walk It Off for something else and just have my party members learn skills/spells that negate CC effects instead.

I'm a little late to comment, but i particularly like to go retribution build with a tank, since tanks don't have much dmg, the reflecting dmg helps a lot, the only few problems with retribution is that the A.I will try to avoid you, so if your party members get stench talent that helps a little, they also need to position themselves well, i also get spider legs to block passages toward my friends or to keep enemies entangled, with skin graft you can keep them from moving for quite sometime, another problem is that depending on the type of dmg you recieve, it can end up healing the enemies, like for example fighting undead that atk with poison, so i like to have a skill that gives decay for that, i also use forced exchange, like in the fight with alice which uses fire dmg and heal from that, so i can kill her easy like that, anyway there is a few problems with retribution but there are ways to counter that, just have to be creative! XD
