Remove a party member?

Speaking to them is the only way to remove them at the moment. Hopefully that changes at some point.

did you use the trick with 4 game clients to customise all 4 or maybe started it as an online play?

We have the same problem: you cannot speak to the generic NPC in the party to make them leave..killing him won't help either, he still takes up a slot.

Sounds odd that you would need to resort to gimmicks when you start a 2 player game, but maybe we indeed started the game as an online play and some random dude joined in the beginning and almost immediately left the game.

So if a party member dies, and I dont care whether they are alive or not, I have to waste a ress scroll to TALK to them to get them out of the party? There is no way to just remove them? What kind of design is that.

Just do it, res scrolls are easy to come by and you should be trying to not die anyways. Don't hoard your scrolls.
