Save the pigs!

So, after I cured the burning pigs

I found one remaining in the last seeker Camp were the crucified seekers are, right behind the dragon. I told (Fred?) to go to the Sanctuary to pray to Amadia. He arrived there and i suggested him to take a bath. That was a horrible idea, he died a gruesome death. Is there a way to heal him for real? Maybe it has something to do with the souljars in the jesters lair, because i gave one of them back to the priest of amadia at the shrine...Suddenly the water turned into blood, and maybe thats why Fred died? I would really be interested in saving him.

I guess it is the pig according to his story.
I really have to re-do my playthrough because I missed quite a few things and the whole soujar thing I didn't got it (I did the 3 necromancers mini dungeon and never found any souljar ...)

Ah, you mean the pig named Feder! I saved her/him and when I spoke to him in the town, it would open the dialogue box and immediately close it, before I could even see anything. I'm guessing it is bugged for me

I had blessed steam above the water and told the pig to have a bath and that did it for me o.o

It seems like i have overseen the most obvious solution...Will try that out, thanks!

EDIT: No, she still dies. Maybe Amadia turned into a death goddess :D

I don't think you just bless the water. I can't remember exactly how but I think through dialogue I got the statue to turn the water into blessed water, it stays like that continuously. After that I told the pig to go in and she turned into a woman and thanked me, than just walked away and stayed in the camp.

So how do you cure the burning pigs? I haven't been able to figure it out.

Shower them with blessing. Literally.

I destroyed Gratiana's soul jar, I blessed all the pigs, I told the pig to go into the water... and now nothing. nothing happens. even the pig asks me now what.

You have to talk to the statue of Amadia and depending on which character you're playing, and what dialogue options you pick, the statue does different things.

For me, the statue as Fane blessed my character. If I tried it with any of my other 3 companions it made the water underneath turn into healing water, which is what transforms the pig back into her human form.

I gave the jar back to Gratiana as well and it was fine.

Talk to the statue and make sure you select the dialogue options to listen to it, feel it, weep with it etc. If you've already done this, you can do it again by getting other companions to talk to it for the first time. If done correctly, it will turn the water into healing water, healing the pig of its curse.

After I blessed (removed burning) the pigs I can't find them, I have already talked to the statue and the pool is now blessed. I have also previously returned the jar to Gratiana.

I thank you for that as it worked. I had to use Lohse.

That is however a very poorly designed quest, like many of the quests in this game. There is zero reasons what so ever that I would ever need to use her over my primary PC, or even NPC Fane does not work. Nobody should assume to have to repeat talking to a statue 3 times with different characters for a quest to complete.

Worst yet, once you convert Feder to human state again... SHE NEVER EVEN THANKS YOU. Like come on.

Such a shame for a great game.
