I walked past the circle of traps then teleported the chest out. It set off the trap right away but we were on the outside ... with the chest.

you can teleport away the pods and save the heads on the poles aswell.

All I did was simply quicksave, open the chest, find out it what it contained (which forr me was nothing), then reloaded, and went on my merry way.

Teleporting the pods too close together made the game completely unstable for me.

They don't like it when you do it and react rather violently, better keep them appart from eachother hehe.

+1. Not that hard :)

I didn't even know that there were talking heads in the area. I just saw a chest in an obviously trapped environment, had the rest of my party stay outside while I (with all my magic shields) just ran straight, grabbed the contents of the chest and got out unscathed.

Then I saw them on the next playthrough and intentionally triggered the lightning and poison explosions.

I teleported the pods away but the heads still exploded

Side note but, I found a book saying those pods were weak to the element that their color corresponded too. Anyone else find that one? It was bullsh*t btw, those pods don't give a damn what spells you throw at them.

yeah, I was like "ok...cool...so just chuck the corresponding element to break the chain!" then after it not working at all I used examine on them and saw 100% resistance to everything and was all "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOOK!"
