The easiest combination is surprisingly oil and fire because oil slows them down pretty hard, and fire does its job even on salamanders. The only thing you have to do is make sure you focus down the salamander that has magic shield on it first.
Water + Lightning /Freeze also works really well despite the basic freeze spell sometimes not hitting its target.
To the east of the salamanders is a ruin. There is a way to climb some vines at the northwest corner out of sight of the Salamanders (493, 125). I think you need to enter the ruin, which is a maze, but you can use teleportation to move along the north and east side to cross gaps, and on the south of the ruin there are vines which can take you down to the beach past the Salamanders.
Use fire on a SALAMANDER? They have 25% armor against fire. -10% against water/ice spells.
There is one narrow path leading to the hill, make it rain there and give it some shock to keep the other salamanders at bay.
you forgot one thing.... when a salamander is hit it curses everything around them... cursed fire is necrofire which reduces fire resist by 40%
