Void Salamanders
So, I need to get past the Void Salamanders at the beach to get to the cave. Is there a way to get past them, or do I simply need to just level up a bit and beat them?

I think you can get past if you kill them.

Teleport stragglers into the group of the enemy, spam AoE spells and arrows and watch them freeze / burn to death. Of course, do it from the high ground cliff area for maximum efficiency.

The easiest combination is surprisingly oil and fire because oil slows them down pretty hard, and fire does its job even on salamanders. The only thing you have to do is make sure you focus down the salamander that has magic shield on it first.

Water + Lightning /Freeze also works really well despite the basic freeze spell sometimes not hitting its target.

There is a way if you have Teleport capability on two characters.

To the east of the salamanders is a ruin. There is a way to climb some vines at the northwest corner out of sight of the Salamanders (493, 125). I think you need to enter the ruin, which is a maze, but you can use teleportation to move along the north and east side to cross gaps, and on the south of the ruin there are vines which can take you down to the beach past the Salamanders.

You should be able to beat them on level 5.

You can choose the Red Prince as your character. He can speak to Salamanders. While Red Prince are speaking your team can freely walk and pass salamanders (use buttons F1-F4) :steamhappy:

Use fire on a SALAMANDER? They have 25% armor against fire. -10% against water/ice spells.

If you have a ranged character, get the "snipe" skill, sneak on top of the hill next to the salamanders and use the snipe skill on one WHILE sneaking. Make sure the one you use it on doesn't have any physical armor. BAM, instant kill, only have 2 salamanders to worry about.

There is one narrow path leading to the hill, make it rain there and give it some shock to keep the other salamanders at bay.

you forgot one thing.... when a salamander is hit it curses everything around them... cursed fire is necrofire which reduces fire resist by 40%
