I found shrine of braccus rex; but ??

I found this shrine of braccus rex but there is nothing in the room and when i interact with itnot much happens; i'm like a cup waiting to be filled. Ok what am I missing here ?

You need a source point. It is consumed when you open the shrine. you get a helm which gives the source vampirism ability.

use it a lot (5x or so? ) and itll turn into some creature. I had to fight it. After, the ability turns into shackles of pain

Well my main character had the collar removed after the arena fight; now I need to find a source point I guess. I know there is a pool somewhere because I stepped in that but that point seems to be gone; didnt' realize that some common stuff used up the points. So now I guess i gotta find another. Or maybe a character with the collar stepped in the pool and the point vanished ?
