Shovel..?
Sorry i'm totally retarded. Where can i find a shovel? Stuck for damn long now.

I found one in the starting beach. just hold ALT while walking around.

At (219,270), Outside of where you first entered Fort Joy, there's a long broken wall. At one point there's a path leading up to it. On top is a bedroll (and a rolled up version which is portable) and a shovel.

Interesting tibit, if you pick lizard as your race you can dig WITHOUT a shovel! ;) So just pick up one as a companion, borrow his claws and tell him to leave the party afterwards

Lol. I dismissed him just before I found out I needed to dig something to progress. I was pretty triggered.

Plenty of shells and mushrooms at that location but no shovel for me.... Is there anywhere else i can get one? i didn't choose the lizard and now hes gone... Is my game legit over because i cant acquire a shovel?

EDIT: I am in the right place. I see the bed roll and the crate and everything else as it should be... But no dang shovel...

You can try purchasing it off other people in Fort Joy.

1) There is a shovel right outside the gate Fort Joy on the top of the broken bridge
2) Lizards characters can dig on their own without a shovel
3) Macgyver it and make your own shovel (Combine Long stick + Bowl = Improvised shovel)
