Remote play together - COOP
I noticed that this game has Remote play together. Are 4 people with 4 separate computers all online at once able to play with ONE copy of the game in coop using Remote play together ?

Thanks

I don't believe so. If I'm not mistaken, the split screen co-op only supports two players simultaneously and requires controllers for both. If you're using Remote Play, you'd need two copies of the game so you can pair off in remote play, then connect each session online for 4 player.

Does anyone know the answer to this? Also, can all 4 players use keyboard and mouse or are controllers needed?

Check through previous discussions, this has come up recently (within the last couple of months or so) so will still be rellevant.

Keyboard and mouse isn’t supported by remote play. When using remote play you’re going to be playing in split screen, which requires controllers. You would need four copies of the game to all use keyboard setups. Otherwise two copies are needed and controllers for all players.

"So, for anyone as me that was looking forward for the splitscreen mode and remote play together and realized it's not available, I got it working with Parsec. The game only let's you play in split screen if there are 2 controllers polugged in, so by using Parsec, and only having one controller plugged, the the app lets your friend see your screen as well as use their controller as if it was plugged into your PC. Worked exactly like Remote Play Together."

A better option would be to family share the game with your three other friends, have them install it, but play offline. Then use a program like hamachi or zerotier to allow you to play together 'online':cozybethesda:
