The key is to take him down while he is on his own before the Silent Monks can get into range, and certainly before the meat golems break out of the cages.
His skills are Backlash, Chicken Claw, Nether Swap, Mosquito Swarm - due to the chickening being very picky about how much Physical Armour the target has he'll focus on one target use swarm and backlash to drop it to 0. He doesn't have area attacks, apart from the default one caused by dual wielding daggers, so watch the party's Physical armour and you effectively neuter his attacks.
His own armour is 98/98 Physical and 111/111 Magical. Pick one and have your party wear it down - have whatever phys/magical members switch to using scrolls or grenades that work on your chosen armour type. For example Nerco scrolls like Decaying Touch (Sheet of Paper, Shadow Essence, and Eye) or Infect (Sheet of Paper, Shadow Essence, and Intestines) will strip chunks of physical armour even if their primary effect fails. Of the 2 Infect has the most range and does the most damage to armour.
Team composition really matters, and new players often make some pretty common “mistakes” that just make things harder for you. A sword and shield tank for instance usually holds back the team using it because their damage is pretty poor and the enemy doesn’t view them as a threat enough to target them. Having just one mage also can hurt as you won’t have the punch to get through magic defenses. You very much go all one damage type or a balanced mix of the two.
Build for damage, follow up with CC. Play aggressively, enemy damage is typically higher than you’ll be able to heal through.
