What does green text mean in journal?

What does it mean if a quest is highligted green?

It already happened, you can see the paragraph that it states what you experienced, describing it. Sorry if I can't explain it properly. Hope you get the gist of it.

hmmm, but I assumed a tick mark means that it already happened. What would the tick icon mean then?

Those are your Unread updates. Once you click on it the game deems it "read" and will become a standard black text next time you look at it.
Once you've done something to update a quest the quest will receive a green leaf and the newest update will be in green text.

AHHHH thank you! Other games I've played would simply say that its unread or have an exclamation mark over a quest log! To me the colour green means done/successful! Thanks fam!
