Just reached Arx... what did Sir Lora give me?
So yeah, I got to Arx and Sir Lora had a conversation with me. He talked about giving me some new power. Some new power that uses the dead to make me more powerful against those I have yet to kill.

But he didn't give me anything. Nothing in my inventory, nothing in my skill book that's new... what was he supposed to give me?

Same thing he gives you every other time, the recipe to a combined skillbook you probably already knew. At least, that is what I'd expect given what he gives you every other time that has happened. I haven't yet committed to a game to get that far yet, but that'd be my guess.

he probably gave you a recipe for either bone cage or grasp of the staved is my guess

If Arx is where you go next after Reaper's coast, i'm right behind you dayve. I'm just robbing my last vendor blind and then we off!

If the little runt gives you another recipe at Arx, then that'll be four recipes so far that i'm aware of the freaky little vermin comes good with. I don't see why peoples dislike the wee fleabag so much, he's been no bother at all right from the start, well for me personally anyway. To each their own.

Ah yes, I forgot it's recipes for skill books he gives. I think I have all the skill books I need at this point, and I probably already have the one he gave.

After Reaper's Coast you go to the Nameless Isle, to the wellspring of divinity. After that you go to Arx, which I believe is the final act of the game. However, I think I still have a long way to go to the end. I saw a video of someone who was level 31, and I'm still only level 18. So... maybe I'm only half way through the game? I honestly don't want it to ever end. I haven't loved every second of a game like this since... probably back in the days of the PS1, in the 1990's.

Anyway I agree about Sir Lora. I can't imagine not having him with me. He's my little squirrel dude. I had to download a mod that lets me revive him though, he kept dying all the time, and it felt strange having his spirit following me but with absolutely no dialogue to acknowledge that he died. So I just revive him. Only had to do it two or three times so far.

31 is impossible and 21 require a lot of quests + murders. You'll finish at level 20.

Cool. Ya i saw a dock near where i topped Alice that said nameless isles or some such. I was going to hit that after i vendor rob everyone on the ship. Mayble i'll hold off on the ship heist as i'm around 70% omw to level 17 and i might ding on nameless isle. Cheers mate.

Ya, I like him. He gets bummed when we see smashed or destroyed trees. I'm with him on that one lol. I don't even know when he died. He was alive at the begining on that battle with Dallis on the Lady V when you're around level 8, and next time i noticed him he was a spook. I was like wha..? I guess i could have gone back and reloaded but i'd done a little since Dallis on the boat and cbf plus as often as possible i like to let the chips to fall where they may so to speak. I'll just roll most times with w/e consequences i cause.

Huh... maybe I'm getting mixed up and the video I saw was from OS 1. Was a while ago. So I actually am close to the end? What a depressing thought. What will I do when it's over?

Some games give you that feeling of emptiness when they are over.
Sometimes it's really difficult to overcome.
I cried when i finished Grandia 1 because it was amazing.

Yes Arx is the last chapter.

It doesn't happen for me very often. I think the last time might have been with Alien: Isolation. I have been a huge fan of the Alien franchise ever since I watched Alien at 4 or 5 years old. My uncle used to babysit me whilst my mother went to work, and his babysitting technique consisted of putting me in front of the TV and letting me watch any one of his videos I wanted to watch. Alien, Aliens, Predator, Terminator 1 and 2, Blade Runner... all kinds of science fiction films. I loved them all but Alien was the one I loved the most. I mean, I never slept in the dark after the day I first watched it, but it was worth it.

So Alien: Isolation was the perfect game for me. It was like being in the first movie. The developers took great care to make it FEEL like the movie. I didn't want that to end either, but it did end after around 20 hours. I felt a little empty after that because I wanted more. I wanted another 20 hours, and another.

I want like... another 500 hours of OS2.

Haha that's funny because i developed Arachnophobia because of Alien and probably because i played the first Alien versus Predator on PC. When you were facehugged you could see the whole process. Good days, bad nights.

The good news is that you can play it again and maybe try multiplayer.

The first AvP game was what got me interested in PC gaming. Before I saw it I didn't even know PC's could be used to play games - I thought they were just something grownups used for work and whatnot. I had only played consoles up to this point.

I think I was 10 or 11, so it would've been 1998/1999, this new kid started at my school and we became friends. His parents were rich (at least they would be considered rich in the poor town I was/am from) and when I went to his house he showed me some PC games. One of them was AvP 1, and the other one... I could never find out what it was, but it was some game with vampires, and you had a revolver pistol.

Both of them absolutely blew my mind. They were so superior to any game you could ever play on any console. It took two years but I finally got a PC of my own - it was absolutely terrible, it didn't have a graphics card, it came bundled with a printer and a scanner that never worked, I immediately got 10 million viruses when I connected to the internet with the 56k modem (which disconnected every time the damn phone rang), but it DID play AvP 2 and Age of Empires 1 and 2 (my first ever strategy games).

Good times my dude. Playing AvP 2 multiplayer with a ping of 9999 at 3am when I should be in bed...

I smacked her face so hard that i couldn't tell the difference between a spider and a mushroom.
I'm mostly afraid of jumping stuff. I hate being surprise. Headcrabs were horrible.
