How to continue multiplayer campaign without the host?

We are playing in a party of 4 people and this weekend, the host will not be able to participate. How do we play without him? How can the host send us his saved so another player can be the host for us to continue the multiplayer campaign?

It’s probably none of my buisness, but I find it odd that the host misses a weekend so you want to play without them. Hopefully that’s all good.

But you would have to find the save that corresponds to their profile and download that profile. You should be able to find the location that the file is in by googling “divinity 2 save data location”

It's all good, actually we're just starting without him and he'll join us later. I've found this folder:

%UserProfile%\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles

What should I do exactly now? Do I have to copy the whole folder?
