Dark Dealings in the Blackpits Bug.

So I cleared out the Blackpits, both the docks and the cave and decide to go back to report to the paladins. They were attacked, helped them defend the gate, none of them died. I talk to the paladin about the quest and all he says is "On your way, adventurer." This causes me to be unable to finish the quest. I chose the "Leave it." option for the reward, and never got an alleged owl whistle I've been reading about. Anyone able to help?

I think you're probably too late if you cleared the Blackpits before visiting the paladins.

Shame, the uncompleted quest is gonna bother me until I get to Arx.

Try to swap another character and talk to the paladin again, It's worked for me.
