strange (maybe) bug when fighting Narin

So, the assassin Narin attacked me on the island. After my team took him down, combat did not end. Margo ran up the beach and started attacking my party. I did not use any area effects on Narin while he was near Margo. During this time, I was not able to target Margo to attack her. Eventually, I just had to quit out. Upon reloading and refighting the battle, the fight ended on Narin's death and Margo did not attack. I have no clue why she did the first time though.
