Peace of Mind Vs Enrage
Right now my character is level 16, and I have been doing research online, and I see that a lot of the late game builds have peace of minds in them. I have been using Enrage for quite awhile, and its guaranteed crit chance is a very handy buff especially when combined with other abilities such as onslaught and death wish. however, its mute side-effect is indeed very annoying. what do veteran players think? should i keep enrage in the late game, or switch to peace of mind, or keep both Enrage and Peace of mind?

Peace of mind is just a stat buff that will offer a slight damage increase, 20% boosted accuracy and wits, moving you around in the turn order. However, enrage will yield more damage than peace of mind would. I’d hold onto both but keep peace of mind for clearing status effects or for other characters. Enrage will likely serve you better, especially if the character being enraged isn’t self-applying it.

Yeh, it’s all personal preference really. The muted effect can be cumbersome and a deal breaker for some people. Elves are very popular for the flesh sacrifice racial, which that mute prevents. if raw damage is what you’re after, especially if you have crit multiplier stacked with scoundrel or two-handed skills, you’ll crush enemies with enrage. This isn’t really relevant until late game though since you’ll want to max warfare first.

depends on the stage of the game and on the situation, enrage is good early in the game, coz your crit stat is low, if you are using it on a ranger, later on, when you get good crit weapons and high wits, peace of mind is much better, coz you'll have almost 100% crit, damage bonus from finesse and faster turn order

That's also a great point. If you already have 100% Crit chance, I guess enrage is not really necessary, since having over 100% crit chance doesn't mean anything.

Enrage is garbage, Peace of Mind is significantly more useful due to its range.

After you get your main damage attrubute maxed, as str or fin, you should start pumping wits, which will increase crit rate. Which means peace of mind will give 10ish extra crit rate and get you close to 100%, while still being able to use magic and gives the added damage stat attribute. So late game, peace of mind is better, early game when your base crit chance is low, enrage is better.

You use peace of mind for wit it gets to start first and for 20% accuracy, the dmg boost is a bonus nothing more.

If you are capped at 100% hit already and have higher wit, peace of mind isn't much useful at this point and enrage works better.

To deal with the mute effect of enrage

Open fight, buff up
Stealth > end turn > delay turn > time warp

Now you you have 3 turns behind each other which also eliminates the mute to be able to use a defense skill again.
