Armor of the eternals
What is this ataraxian artifact? I have like 10 of these artifacts but the icon i nthe crafting is still red. I am almost done with act 3, is this an armor meant to be late game?

TBH the Armor of the Eternals isn't really that great. I crafted 3 of them when I was level 17, 18 and 19 and just sold them. I've seen pictures of it having 2 rune slots, so I suppose if you role one of those it would be worth while.

The wiki says it is locked at 1 rune slot, hmm, maybe its outdated news then.

Out of curiosity, when did you find that damn artefact for it?

The Nameless Isles and in Arx. Open all Reliquary and sarcophagus.

It’s not the worst if all the vendor rolls are terrible near the endgame. As for the rune slot thing, some items were previously spawned with dual slots. The deadeye crossbow from the lumber mill and a couple other items including the eternal armor had them. However, it was somewhat broken as two of the largest masterwork runes would give you nearly double physical armor from the item. So it was patched out so the maximum slots is one.

Thanks Chaoslink,

That makes sense, there are enough OP abilities and combos in this game. I'm currently doing a Lonewolf playthough with a difficulty mod that doubles monsters and I'm still plowing through. I wish they made a Game + mode or some way we can adjust boss fights and enemy numbers \ HP \ AR .

I mean, there are mods that increase scaling. Tactician is 50% more than classic. I had a mod that made it 200% (damage excluded). I ran this with one that leveled enemies up upon entering combat to a desired level, I had it set to two levels higher, in addition to that scaling. This made things interesting til about late act 2.
