what are some good lone wolf duos? (spoilers)
currently running a summoner(fane) wayfarer(lohse) and I do alright, but I feel like I have to do a lot of micromanaging, for instance the purging dragon quest bit with the witch in the crimson cave took a ton of kiting / sacraficing. just wondering if there are any better combos out there.

Two summoners would be a cakewalk I imagine. Same with two big beefy melee dudes with strong 2handers.

Lone wolf in general seems pretty busted so I tend to avoid it now.

I'm on my first playthrough and didn't want a bunch of people running around, but i'd have to agree. the bonus ap is crazy.

I made one duo build on Tactician that I ended up abandoning because it was way too OP. I can't remember the details, but both characters were mages with shields. I put a few points in strength so they could have some decent armor. Both focused on frost and electric spells as well as healing / armor spells. I maxed out summoning for one early on and eventually maxed summoning for both. Both had The Pawn, teleportation, nether swap, and tactical retreat for maximum mobility.

My strategy was to get my characters up high and out of the way then immediatly spawn in Champion Incarnates (usually with electrical, power, and farsight infustion) to distract the enemies. If any enemies got too close, I could teleport them away, use tactical retreat, or just keep backing up. While the enemy team was wasting time, I would bombard them with area of effect spells and get their magic shields down ASAP. Once their shields were down, I could keep most of the team perpetually stunned or frozen as I continued blasting them with spells. A few archers and mages occasionally managed to damage me, but my support spells easily took care of the damage.

It ended up just becomming too easy and boring. If I go Lone Wolf again, I'm going to just do a solo build.

Anything, really. Lone Wolf is so busted you can make virtually anything work. If you want to pass out from boredom, just make two Rangers with maxed out Warfare, Huntsman, and Ranged and pewpew everything to death with standard attacks from highground.

I'm also interested in this. Beaten the game once, but I was thinking about two Lone Wolf for a second playthrough. Considering two mages (one Int/Str, one Int/Fin), but I would like to hear what other people have done. Looking for most fun versus most overpowered.

Hobocop has it right, if you want easy game even on tactician, you use two ranged characters with warfare. Doing thousands of damage with every standard shot. You don't even need skills (beside movement related stuff).
