I looked up a guide that said he's supposed to be available to talk to right by the crashed ship when starting Arx and after talking will relocate to the Hall of Echoes to command what's left of Lady Vengeance's crew.
So I suspect either that's incorrect, changed in the DE or it's a game bug.
He only appears on the Wreckage in the Arx if you convinced him to not pursue Vengance. If you take the Vengance route he does not remain a member of your crew.
Story wise Dallas/big boss successfully drains every Sourcer of their power except you and your crew. Hes a Sourceless zombie now.
You mean convincing him not to kill Jonathan? I did that. Or did I have to take the path of not killing Alexander? I originally followed the path of convincing Alexander to let me ascend, but I backtracked and helped Gareth kill him because I couldn't abide the little ♥♥♥♥-waffle weaseling his way out of the mess he presided over.
Correct, you needed to convince him to not kill Jonathan and Alexander.
If you let him kill Jonathan then it locks you out of convincing him to not kill Alexander. Look on the bright side though, doing his quest to kill Alexander results in more xp in the long run.
