Phoenix Egg
What's the point to keep it? Is it going to hatch in the future or something?

but really, same here, never hatched. I was hopping for a little evil dragon baby. :(

i put it on top of the glowing idol of rebirth and it lit on fire for a little bit then nothing

You don't need to be an elf to do that, everyone can eat the egg for the skill.

Just for completion.

I burned it, blessed it, talked with the ghost hen at peepers quest, talked to the magical bird right aside the 4 seasons quest, talked to ryker, talked with the flaming lizard pet at rykers house, placed it into the bowl it appeared and burned it, placed it into nekrofire, went to the blackmines and tried placing on the altar, talked with tarquin, combined it with a hammer and repairhammer to crack it, combined it with a resurrection scroll, did a phoenix dive on it. Sadly i don't own peeper anymore, to talk with him, maybe this is his father?

Maybe it is for the Addon that will come? When you keep it, it will hatch and you have a companion like the black cat, that can perform a baby phoenix dive and a mini version of fire spells. Who knows? :O)
