Summon Dragonling?

I heard anyone can breath on the egg, but do you need the prince anyway? I haven't played in a while but finished it once.

Now we want to play with only two characters. I was curious if a lizard character is enough.

Red is required to produce the egg. With Persuasion, you can convince Sadha to let you hatch it, but Red is still required to progress the quest. If you take Red through the act transitions and dismiss him, recruiting him again only to progress his quest, you can theoretically still get it while playing most of the game with two characters, though you’ll be without the lone wolf talent for fights involved with his quest only.

Wait wait wait, this is indeed possible! I did this recently on my 2 man lone wolf run. I had 2 custom characters therefore everyone in the lizzard dreamworld turned hostile and I was forced to kill everyone. After the last fight against the red princess I used the mask of the shapeshifter, turned into a lizzard and used the fire breath racial skill on the altar and the little dragonling popped out - starting a dialogue. My character had pet pal and high persuasion. I don't think you need pet pal - but if I recall correctly you will have to win a persuasion check on one of the 3 options for the little guy to join you and granting you the summon spell.

granted 5 years is quite some time so I thought I would ask you personally if you know what has changed since this post that would make it impossible on current version

i accidentally cooked the dragon egg. is there a way to turn a Dinner back to dragon egg

you totally can you just need to breath fire on the pedestal even though there is no egg. I just got the dragonling in my playthgrough killed red princess and got it anyway.

game is just programed like garbage. the egg has nothing to do with it I guess its just breathing fire on the pedestal.
