lost pet pal because of source

after getting the second level on source i lost the skill "pet pal" i can no longer talk to pets with my MC, i need another character to do that, any way to fix this? im on the second act

For the record, there's multiple ways to get 3 source points. Reload, ignore Hannag's offer, and get them elsewhere.

If one of your companions (which one without pet pal) speaks with Hannag and complete the quest you can get the third source slot and keep pet pal

another option is go to the mirror before talking to her, remove pet pal for something else, talk to her, go back to the mirror to get pet pal back.

AFAIK in that case she will simply take one talent point from you.

You can also just go back to the ship, talk to the mirror with someone and have them get pet pal. You can basically freely change points around with the mirror but i like to take off armor before i use the mirror. Lets me see my stats easier.
