Meistr Siva's safe

So I've mostly finished the Powerful Awakening quest. gpt my 3 source, etc. then...

I go into the cellar to see if there's anything else and she dies. voidwoken attack. Ok, fine, dead voidwoken. I search her body and find a paper with an elaborate combination on it.
I look around for a safe, buffing my wits with clear mind, etc (buffed Wits = 31). Later, I come back to grab some source from the fountain and my quest log updates again with...

We have sneaked into the cellar of Meistr Siva's house. There must be something there that will help us.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what it's talking about.

Has anyone found the safe that the combination is for? Is it even in the cellar at all? What does your Wits need to be? If it's talking about somthing else, does anyone know what that might be?

I'm also stuck here. I found a small chest containing some valuables after I rotated the room around, I hadn't noticed it before (it's by the entrance to the laboratory room after you enter the cellar) but it didn't do anything to my quest and said nothing about unlocking it.

This was really confusing to me but I'm pretty sure what its referring to as a safe is the combination locked entrance to the cellar. This combination being the solution to continuing with the story if she is dead and doesn't tell you how to get in.

Not like..a different safe with loot.

The downside to having really open ended ways to complete objectives means that sometimes wires get terribly crossed.

I think that's just the journal misunderstanding where you are in the quest. It thinks that this is the first time you've entered and the thing you need to find is info about the ritual.

If anyone finds which safe the note is talking about, please let me know.

Also might have bugged out the Blazing sculptures on Bloodmoon, I have both me and Lohse read the Taming of the Holy Fire but we can't make the statues open up... *sigh*

No need to look for anything. The note (combination) you found in the note after she dies is the code to enter her cellar. When you met her first, she actually tells you this combination to open the cellar hatch.

trial and error my friend, but i'm pretty sure once you find her, you'll find the combo

I was stuck on this for an embarrassingly long time. You need a character with a high amount of WITS to even be able to use the safe properly. Sebille had 18 and it worked for me.

r -> right and l -> left

read the books at the cellar and u will find about the ritual and there is a desk close to source pool which gives u all the items to perform ritual.

just craft and keep all the items (use knife to cut urself)
then keep it near the furnace and use the lever.

it will take u to ur god and he will give u ability to see dead people.

safe combination is easy to figure.. just kept a notepad and used trail and error.
