Stuck at Shrine of Xantezza

Hello, does anyone know how to activate the shrine? Theres some ancient device in front of it, and a few strange artefacts can be found in the chests, but theres no option to use them on the shrine, and combining them did nothing either. Stuck on main quest because of this part. Character comments on the shrine lacking something to work properly, but no quest pops up like it did with Amadia and Orc Guy shrine.

You open it with the pressure plates.

You can also teleport in 4-5 jumps to where you need to go, bypassing the whole thing.

There are 4 pressure plates. Put a chest on one and 3 of your party on the others. Then pass through when the door opens and pyramid them in. We are speaking about the door, which has no lever behind it.

So you cannot pray at Xantessas altar, which is not a big deal. You can easily guess her sign or try it out, there are only two options.

Xantessas altar is inside the gem in the end of the path...

No you can't they're mechanically locked. You need to activate the pressure plates to open

If you are talking about the interior of the gem, you can bypass the doors by using one of the port spells, starting from the entry point.

If you have a character with teleportation, you can simply run along the steam pipes until you get within range of the core. Get to the core ASAP to stop countdown. THEN figure out how you want to answer Xantezza the imp-goddess.

If you go the "black ring ruse" way and tell them you're Almira's thralls, you will get a quest to kill Alexander for the sallow man, after killing him, you get notified of that location (of the cave) through the blck mirror. That's how I found it. I was stuck at the shrine before that too.

i cant manage to drop the gem onto the pedestal, it says there is not enough space. what should i do?

It does not matter, if you merge the gem with the altar or not. It is a gate into a sanctuary and works everywhere. I doubleclicked it on the ground where I found it myself and was transported inside.
