Band of Braccus - curse

So, whenever I equip the band of braccus, i get perma cursed. If i bless myself, all it does is unequip the ring (if it wasn't equipped) but when i requip it the curse is back. I already used bless twice. So, is there a way to equip the ring, without having the curse?

You need the whole set of the Tyrant armour.

The ring isn't a part of the set. Jesus christ... why the ♥♥♥♥ are people giving ''advice'' as if they haven't played the game.

The Tyrant set consists of only the armor pieces. The spear and ring are separate unique items; there doesn't seem to be a way to use the ring without the curse affliction.

somehow atleast in my game curse from the ring is removed my wearing Tyrants helmet.
Not visually, but i can see in stats that debuffs are no more

The ring is a quest item that's used in certain places; it's not part of the armor set.

As for the undead character Fane, whenever I equip the ring, the cursed is showed as a "status", but doesn't really decrease my stats. However, when I remove the Ring, my stats decreased.

It's like cursed the One Ring from evil lord... you know who... that Frodo had ... grr PRECIOUS!! If you lose it you will go crazy mad and turn into Gollum...
Now to the stats, they only decrease when you don't have the ring on you... if you have it your fine for about 100 or so years ... if you do keep it, you can go on a quest to Braccus Rex's Tower, or you can get a blessing from your god and throw the ring into the fire... funny how all cursed rings are the same... people it's an RPG so play it like one :))

I have all the Tyrant set, the ring and the spear.

I wear the set and the curse does not affect my stats - but Beast (who has it on) is bent over as if in pain.

Why?

When I remove the ring - the curse stats appear.

I found that the curse stats disappear if you give the ring to someone else.

ok so I have the ring of Braccus Rex. the curse doesn't take effect if I wear the ring. however if I take the ring off the curse activates. How do I Remove the Curse any Ideas. I hate this curse.

Bless seems to remove the curse. That's what did.

Bless will remove the curse. The ring is just a cursed item. You can't sell it. The only way to get rid of the curse is to equip the ring on another character or bless the person wearing the ring.

As far as I know the ring is not part of the set. It helps you unlock some special place and access that unhindered. Gargoyle Maze and Tower of the Source King

Bless will help you lift the curse. Fane was also prone to that curse, at least till now.

The ring is permanently cursed, and the curse cannot be lifted from the ITEM as far as I know. As the person above me suggested, the ring is used for something else. Makes you able to skip the Gargoyles Maze and go straight to the Tower. (Which enables you to pick up 2 skulls and head straight to the burning librarian aswell).
